About the Event

Our special Black History Month event will celebrate history, leadership, and community, featuring Judge Tiffany Thomas-Smith as our special guest speaker. The evening will also include a powerful and uplifting performance by local children’s group, Amplifying Black Brilliance (ABB), highlighting the voices of the next generation.

Judge Tiffany Thomas-Smith brings a deep commitment to fairness and public service to the bench. With a distinguished legal career rooted in community advocacy and judicial excellence, she has consistently demonstrated leadership in promoting civil rights, strengthening access to justice, and uplifting marginalized voices. Her work both inside and outside the courtroom reflects a dedication to integrity, compassion, and meaningful change.

Amplifying Black Brilliance (ABB)- a partnership between No Longer Bound and the Bristol Riverside Theater. ABB creates immersive experiences for youth to celebrate heritage within the African diaspora through creative expression, cultural appreciation, education, and mentorship. ABB is a free community program recommended for youth ages 7-17.

This event is an opportunity to learn, celebrate, and reflect together as we honor Black history and look toward a future grounded in justice and unity.  All are welcome to come learn, celebrate, and honor Black history together.
