About the Event
You are invited to join us for a timely and important Town Hall conversation examining the dismantling of Black history and the current state of our democracy. At a moment when truth, education, and democratic values are under increasing threat, this gathering creates space for honest dialogue, reflection, and collective responsibility.
The event will be moderated by Kevin L. Antoine, political analyst, author, and veteran. We are especially honored to feature a powerful youth performance by Amplifying Black Brilliance, reminding us that the next generation is not only watching history unfold—but shaping what comes next. Their performance is made possible through the partnership of Bristol Riverside Theater and No Longer Bound, who have come together in shared purpose to uplift our community and amplify the voices of our youth.
As our nation stands at a crossroads, this town hall calls us to engage, to listen, and to act. Together, we will confront the challenges before us while celebrating resilience, creativity, and the enduring strength of our communities. Democracy and history demand our attention—and this moment calls for all of us.
This is an opportunity to learn, celebrate, and reflect together as we honor Black history and look toward a future democracy grounded in justice and unity.
All are welcome.
