About the Event
The NAACP of Bucks County is proud to sponsor a Juneteenth Celebration presented by the Lower Bucks County (LBC) Juneteenth Committee.
Juneteenth (aka Freedom Day) marks the end of slavery in the US when the last remaining slaves in Texas finally received the news that they were free. The holiday commemorates African American freedom and is observed annually.
Come out to the Bristol Waterfront and celebrate with us. There will be great food, lots of vendors and entertainment. We will also have a table set up with applications if you would like to join our organization.
