About the Event
Juneteenth is a federal holiday celebrated on June 19th. This day commemorates the emancipation of slaves in Texas in1865- two years after the Emancipation Proclamation took effect. The slaves in Texas were that last to learn the news of their freedom. Come out and join Us as we celebrate this day in history.
