The NAACP advances political empowerment by registering voters, providing nonpartisan voter education, and encouraging active participation in the democratic process. Through voter registration drives, community outreach, and election engagement efforts, we work to ensure every eligible voter has the knowledge and opportunity to make their voice heard.

Beginning on March 1, 2026, Life membership fee amounts will be adjusted to allow the organization to expand advocacy efforts, enhance member services, and respond more effectively to the evolving civil rights challenges facing our communities.
